Paula Patton has a distinguished career as an actor, producer and director. The actress is best known for her starring role on Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol. Her family was a middle class one in Los Angeles, she harboured huge dreams when she was a kid. Her mother was a movie fan and was a constant source of encouragement to her love for movies as a young person. Paula was involved in her school's co-curricular activities and especially captivated by the dramatic arts. Her classmates and she played together and was a part of the school's productions. She was a part of numerous performances at the high school of Hamilton Magnet Arts High School and then decided to pursue acting as her career. She went to the University of Southern California for an intensive summer program and was enthralled by the experience. She was awarded an assignment by PBS to create documentaries over 3 months. The first assignment was to be production assistant for television documentaries following her successful completion of the task. After that, she began producing documentaries. While she enjoyed working in the field, she wanted to become an actor. She started her acting career by playing a minor character in the romantic comedy film Hitch along with Will Smith. Since then she's appeared in numerous productions and films.
