Anna Paquin

Anna Paquin (born Winnipeg, raised in Wellington) is an Canadian actor from Canada. Born in Winnipeg and born in Wellington Paquin was able to make her acting debut in the role of Flora McGrath in the romantic drama film The Piano for which she received an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress at age 11 making her the second-youngest winner to win an award within Oscar history. Anna Paquin is full Anna Helene Paquin born on the 24th July 1982 Winnipeg Manitoba Canada. Canadian actress, and New Zealander who at the age of a youngster, was awarded her first Academy Award in 1993 for the most outstanding support actress. She played the feisty daughter of Holly Hunter's character in The Piano. Paquin was also in the role of the queen of Spain in Steven Spielberg's 1997 film Amistad. The role she played was for teenagers on Hurlyburly (1998), She's All That (2000) and A Walk on the Moon (2000). The actress played the role of a groupie Polexia Aphrodisa on Almost Famous (2000).
