Winona-Ryder
Winona Laura Horowitz, professionally referred to by the name Winona Ryder was born in Winona Minnesota. The parents named her Winona for her hometown. His father Michel Horowitz and her mother Cynthia Palmer were authors and editors. Ryder's father was born into a Jewish family. Ryder considers her self Jewish. She also has a half-sister, Sunyata Jubal. Her older sibling is Uria. When Ryder was just seven years old, her family relocated to Mendocino County California. The family lived in a place without electricity. There was no television books was her only source of entertainment to spend the time and she was a voracious reader. In 1983 when she was 12 years old, Ryder joined the American Conservatory Theatre to take acting classes. Her first role was a success on the big screen in 1986, aged 15 years old. older. Ryder was subject to bullying in highschool. Ryder believed that if she became an actor, her bullying was going to be corrected. Sadly, this didn't occur. She continued to pursue her dreams. In 1988, she received her biggest break with Tim Burton's Beetlejuice. Ryder kept playing successful roles in several movies. Ryder was nominated twice for Academy Awards one for her part as a character in The Age of Innocence (1993).
